Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Leslie Cook. I started my teaching career in 1979, teaching at Perkins Elementary and then West View Elementary here in Knoxville. I have been teaching at Sequoyah Elementary since 1989. I love the adventure, challenge, and fulfillment that come with teaching elementary children. I believe it is important to provide a safe and warm classroom environment filled with many learning experiences that are balanced with respect to the development of the child and the curriculum standards set up by Knox County Schools and the State of Tennessee. It is an honor and privilege to be a part of such a wonderful school.
